While the CBS drama has had a long run, fans are still wondering, “Will there be a season 14 of Blue Bloods?” We’re looking to Tom Selleck, who portrays the head of the family Frank Reagan, for answers. How Did Blue Bloods Season 11 End
In the two-hour finale for season 11, we learned along with Danny that Joe Hill had been loaned out to the ATF for an undercover mission involving gun running. And Danny only discovered it when he almost shot Joe when Joe showed up in a case that Danny was working.
Because of Dannys takedown, the boss of the op that Joe was working on, became nervous and wouldnt let his team make any phone calls. Joe did his best to leave a trail of clues for Danny, who called Jamie, who knew what Joe was up to, in to help, so they were able to track him down.
And track him down just in the nick of time they did. The result was a big shoot out with the Reagans taking down the criminals, but not without Joe taking a non-lethal bullet.
And in the final scene, he ends up back at family dinner, where Frank pronounces him definitely his fathers son.

What Happened At The End Of Blue Bloods Season 12
Danny and Jamie joined forces with their nephew Joe Hill, when Jamie and Joes search for an undocumented trafficked teenage girl converged with Danny and Baezs investigation in which a pregnant woman died in a bomb explosion. Miraculously, the baby was saved, and Baez later decided to adopt it. The combined teams also managed to track down the teenage girl, who was wearing a bomb, but Danny defused it.
Then at family dinner, where Joe once again joined the family, there was also a new guest, Anthony Abetemarco , and the reason he was invited was that Erin announced she will be running for District Attorney.
Amy Carlson Didnt Like How Her Character Was Written Off Blue Bloods
Amy Carlson was part of the original cast of Blue Bloods, portraying Linda Reagan, an emergency room nurse married to the oldest Reagan son, Danny . Bumped up to a series regular from recurring status in Season 2, Carlson decided to leave the show after Season 7 when her contract with the series ran out, according to Deadline.
The show explained her absence with a shocking revelation in the Season 8 premiere: Its mentioned that Linda Reagan had died in a helicopter crash offscreen. Viewers were shocked and livid, and Carlson didnt much care for how her character exited Blue Bloods either. I feel badly that she dies the way she dies, Carlson said.
